- The majority of the articles feature black people within the covers / thumbnails. They also discuss a lot of black related topics, such as: Black History Month, Black Unity Bike Ride, Black History and etc.
- Adverts like the one shown in the picture on top are also black themed, 'South African Road Trip'
How does Post Colonialism Fit in?
Unlike the typical Post Colonial texts where the European or White people are the only ones being portrayed as good, Typically by making them look a certain way, Business suits to portray professionalism and class is one of the examples.
But, In this article. The main center of attention, are the Black People or what a typical Post Colonial text would call as the "Others". There is so many posts about Black people that the White people are considered as a minority within this article and in almost all portrayal of Blacks are good ones, Which basically means that this article completely subverts the typical ideas of Post Colonialism.
Some good portrayal of the Blacks include, the positive looking thumbnails like The guy in this picture smiling, Which considered as something fun that spread happiness, which likely make the audience somewhat feel the same way.
