How interested we are with their love life, like who they have a relationship with.

Ordinariness :
How close to life they are with regular everyday people, Like then going to a convince store.

Success :
How did they become successful, especially the case if they came from an overnight success. ( A sudden rise to fame )

Consumption :
How does they use the money or wealth they have, like buying expensive cars or products and etc.

Dream turn sour :
Their downfall, controversial things.

Case Study

Real Persona

Love
His Love life is very messy, with two divorces He is currently single and is having trouble to find someone that he could trust. He had dated multiple women in the past such as Joc McAvoy, Kaya Jones, Kimberly Anne Scott, Mariah Carey. Some like Kimberly Anne was his High School sweetheart while some like Mariah Carey was a popular artist.

                                                                         Kim Scott

Ordinariness
Despite of his wealth and popularity, Eminem tends to dress up normally with nothing more than your plain T shirt and Hoddle. If a person didn't know who He is, they might even mistake Him for an ordinary or low class citizen. But the way He dress is what makes him so relatable to many audiences, Nothing to over the top and expensive, just simple.

Success
His Album The Slim Shady LP in 1999 had been the gateway for His worldwide popularity. Skyrocketing him from an otherwise unknown underground rapper, into an sensation, dubbing him 'The first white rapper'. Since then His music has been popular, achieving upwards of Hundreds and even Billions of Views in YouTube, making Him very rich. Some even go as far as calling him 'The King of Hip-Hop'

Consumption
He owns a Grand Mansion located in Michigan  which He bought in 2003 for $4,750,000. As mansion goes, its fairly large and has multiple accommodations that you would expect, such as a tennis court, a swimming pool and a basketball court. He also owns multiple expensive cars such as: a ford mustang, a Hummer H2 and a Cadillac Escalade.

Dreams turn Sour ( Downfall )
Eminem got a lot of hate when He used a Homophobic slur to describe the another rapper 'Tyler the Creator'. In the song 'Fall' Eminem mention Him as a 'F_ _ _ o t' and other homophobic words, Which didn't set well for most of his fans and Tyler's. Even Eminem regretted His choice of lyrics and His Partner whom he created the album with, Justin Vernon also expressed his dislike.

Post Modernism Case Studies

Analyze the key characteristics of postmodern media? Jean Baudrillard stated that post modernist texts is a copy of a copy in where there is reality, Heightened reality and hyper reality, with each one being more surreal than the other. A Documentary like 'Hailstorm' ( 2022 ) available on Netflix is an example of heightened reality as it includes aspects that are real such as natural environment, sounds and real life locations but at the same time includes artificial editing that creates different meaning in the form of music, narration and camera angles. While audiences would still be able to tell the difference on what's real or not. Their perception of the film changes depending on what the Producers show. The cooking show 'Hell's Kitchen' ( 2023 ) is a TV Series that haves chefs battle each other in a cooking contest. This series in considered as a Hyper Reality as audiences would struggle to grasp on what exactly is real in the film and what isn't. This...

Theory Theorist Definition (60 words) Case Study (60 words) Media ownership / regulation - Synergy - Cross Media Convergence - New Media - Agenda Setting - Censorship - US Law: Section 230 - Technological Convergence - Hegemonic Groups - Moral Panic Stanley Cohen Moral panics are defined when news, problem or social phenomenon is shown exagertately by the media. This results in a widespread fear that is disproportionate to the problem. The 'Momo Challage' (2018) was an internet phenomenon that talked about a creepy character named 'Momo' who haunts social media platforms that encourages children to perform suicide or dangerous actions. As the news became more trending. it results in widespread panic of parents and teens who feared their safety. But, in reality there was little evidence that says this threat was even real. Eventually the challange was debunked as a hoax. Post Modernism Jean Baudrillard He states with Highetened and Hyper reality, Its hard for audiences...
