Critical Self Reflection

Angelo 12A This is my critical self reflection for our product Critical Self Reflection  For Component 3 of our Project, I chose the option which was ” A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music video (major task), together with an official social media page for the band or artiste(s) and a digipak for the album’s release (minor tasks).”  My group which included : Myself, Jonathan , Jason and Abizer decided to go for a Hip Hop genre where we would  make a music video based on Kanye West’s song of ‘ Ghost Town’  How do your products represent social groups or issues? First, before anything I imported the ‘Ghost Town’ Audio into Hitfilm ( My editing software ) I named it appropriately  I lowered down the volume to not make it too loud I started importing files we have on the drive By using the ‘import’ button at the top left corner, I imported the videos to Hitfilm I Edited the videos by cutting them into pieces ( By using the clipping tool )  and finding the best scenes to use for each part, Following the storyboard. I also used jump cuts on appropriate beats to show time leaping forward.  I experimented using the letter box in the music video, But It didn't sit right for me to use it so I removed it.  Done with the first few scenes, I imported the next videos for our next scene. Which was the football one.  Like before I edited the videos according to the beat and used the appropriate scenes. This scene where he Shoots the ball and misses is done purpose
